What are CelebAir flights?
CelebAir flights are operated by Monarch, but will have a number of celebrities working on them alongside Monarch's normal cabin crew serving CelebAir customers.

How do I book a CelebAir flight?

How does a CelebAir flight differ from a Monarch flight?
A CelebAir flight operates as a standard Monarch flight, although celebrities will be present and working on these services. The inflight service on CelebAir flights is the same as Monarch's normal inflight service.

I am a CelebAir customer travelling on a CelebAir flight. Will I be filmed?
If you book a CelebAir seat on a CelebAir flight, you will be required to read and accept CelebAir's terms and conditions of carriage. These state that you agree and understand that you may be featured in a series of television programmes and consent to the photography filming recording and/or live relay of your journey.

I am a Monarch customer travelling on a CelebAir flight. Will I be filmed?
No, not unless you consent to this at the time of travel.

Which celebrities will I see on my CelebAir flight?
A maximum of two celebrities will be operating on each CelebAir flight.

What roles will be celebrities be performing?
The celebrities will undertake the same duties as Monarch staff at Gatwick Airport and onboard CelebAir flights. These duties include check-in, ticket desk, boarding flights plus all inflight services.

If I book a seat on a Monarch flight that has CelebAir activity on it, will I be served by a celebrity?
No. The celebrities will only serve CelebAir customers, at Gatwick Airport and on CelebAir flights.

How much will my CelebAir flight cost me?
CelebAir seats will be priced and managed the same as Monarch seats on all CelebAir flights.

If I book a CelebAir flight from the UK, how do I get back?
CelebAir seats are available on flights to and from the UK, although these are not paired for outbound and return travel. CelebAir seats are sold one-way, the same as Monarch seats. If no CelebAir flight is available on your outbound or return journey, it may be necessary to book a seat on a standard Monarch flight instead.

Can I book my outbound and return flight on the same aircraft?
No. There will not be enough time to disembark the aircraft, clear immigration, check-in and board the return flight.

Why can't I pre-allocate my seat on a CelebAir flight?
To ensure all CelebAir customers are served by celebrities, they will be sat together within the same area of the cabin. Seats will be pre-allocated by Monarch, dependant on the number of CelebAir customers travelling on a CelebAir flight.

Why can't I check in online for my CelebAir flight?
All CelebAir customers will be checked-in by celebrities at Gatwick so online check-in is therefore not available.

I'm travelling from Gatwick. Where should I check-in for my CelebAir flight?
CelebAir check-in desks are located alongside the Monarch check-in desks in Zone K at Gatwick Airport, South Terminal.

Why are there no CelebAir check-in desks at overseas airports?
CelebAir check-in desks are only available at Gatwick Airport. Customers checking-in for a CelebAir flight at an overseas airport should check-in at a Monarch desk.

Is it safe to have celebrities as cabin crew on flights?
Cabin crew training is regulated by the CAA and all of the celebrities have completed and passed Monarch's cabin crew training course.

I am a Monarch customer travelling on a CelebAir flight. What will be different about my flight?
The inflight service on CelebAir flights will be the same as Monarch's standard inflight service and Monarch customers will be continue to be served by Monarch cabin crew.

I require special assistance on a CelebAir flight. Who should I speak to, to arrange this?
Your flight can be booked online here at www.monarch.co.uk/celebair. If you require special assistance however, this must be arranged through Monarch Call Centre (0871 225 3884).
